It's been an emotional couple of weeks with the devastating fires on Maui. Personally we do have family and friends on Maui and some lost their homes in Lahaina. For us we are thankful that everyone we know is safe. To all those affected by the fires on Maui and the Big Island you and your Ohana are in our thoughts and prayers 💛

 

Through this difficult time we have seen the community come together united as one to kokua and malama one another through this. It's definitely humbling and provides a huge amount of hope. To all the first responders volunteers, and communities near and far who answered the call to help bless you all 🙏🏽💛 We know that healing will take time and Koa Roots will try to do our part and help in anyway we can.

Several of our dear friends who also own small businesses here in Oregon will be a Farmers Market donation hub at specific locations for the gift card drive starting next week. The needs change daily and at this time we are asking for specific gift cards (Costco, Target, Walmart, & Visa Gift Cards) and monetary donations.

We have also partnered with Built Oregon and Centrl Office to offer alternative drop off locations for donations. Centrl Office has 4 convenient locations around Portland & Lake Oswego. Please see their addresses below, drop off can be done Monday - Friday from 9:00am to 4:00p.
